Step 1: Give Us Your Car Details for a Cash Quote
Tell us the make, model, year, condition and location of your car. Let us know if it starts and drives, what is damaged, and whether any parts are missing. The more accurate the details, the more accurate we can make your cash quote.
Before you call, check:
- Does it start and drive, or does it need a winch?
- Does it have accident damage?
- Any engine, gearbox or electrical problems?
- Are wheels, battery, panels or other parts missing?
- Is the car complete or partly stripped?
- Where is the vehicle located?
Your location matters too. A car that is easy to access needs a different pickup setup from one behind a shed or sitting in a paddock.

Step 2: See What Your Car Is Worth

Can You Sell a Car Without WOF or Rego?
Yes, you can sell an unwanted car without a current WOF or rego. We regularly deal with vehicles in this condition, including cars that have failed a WOF or are no longer roadworthy.
The important part is handling the NZTA side correctly. When you sell or dispose of the vehicle, you should notify NZTA that the vehicle has been sold. This helps keep the vehicle transaction record up to date.

What Happens to Your Car After Collection?
Your car does not simply disappear after we collect it. We take it through a process designed to recover useful parts and materials.
